Dina's is a fast-casual Italian restaurant located on St. George Street.

Dina – The Real Italian Piadina, St. Augustine’s first-ever fast-casual Italian restaurant, proudly announces its grand opening on Saturday, December 10th. Open since mid-November, Dina’s main dish is a piadina or thin, handmade Italian flatbread filled with a variety of local and imported meats, cheeses, and fresh vegetables.

“We take pride in the quality of our ingredients and source as much of our vegetables from sustainable growers in North Florida,” said Stefano Braganti, co-owner of Dina along with friends Andrea Maccario, Hezi Mena and Luca Bonfante. “We import our cured meats and cheeses from the best Italian producers and hand-select our smoked fish from right here in St. Augustine.”

Located in the heart of the Nation’s Oldest City, across from Columbia Restaurant, Dina offers signature piadinas such as Maialina (mozzarella, Mortadella, eggplant, and truffle oil) and Dina (Stracchino cheese, Prosciutto, fresh arugula, and balsamic glaze). The restaurant also features homemade desserts like Tiramisu and Coffee Semifreddo and a selection of Italian wine, beer, and sodas.

“Our mission here at Dina is RO5, which stands for the ‘Rule of Five,’ explained Braganti. “Everything we serve in our restaurant is made with five ingredients or less. We believe that what you eat doesn’t need to have more ingredients than the fingers on your hand. Simple is better!”

Dina’s grand opening will be held on Saturday, December 10th with free piadinas from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The owners will be on-hand for a meet and greet. Dina will also regularly offer a 10 percent discount for locals and two weekly $25 gift card giveaways for loyal customers.

Dina is open Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating and is located at 100 St. George St., Suite J, on the corner of Hypolita Street and Spanish Street.
