Try farro instead of orzo in pasta dishes.

I’m not sure if I’ve ever been a fan of the zoodles for noodles, cauliflower for steak, vegetable/healthy for anything else game. Sometimes those dishes taste really great, yes, but most of the time I just want the real thing and not the potentially healthier older step sibling. Ja feel? Well consistent to all of my usual quandaries, my body was yelling at me for one thing but the ingredients in the pantry didn’t quite fit the bill. I was forced to get creative with my mac and cheese prep and ended up with a farro, mac and cheese, risotto hybrid that surprised even the most skeptical bone in my body. I served it with a side of veggies and grilled shrimp but I could see it being delicious with an upscale BBQ meal or picnic.
