Downtown food court has midweek market
Saturiwa Trading Company joins other specialty food vendors downtown from 11am until 2pm on Wednesdays.

The Court Urban Food Park, located along Hogan Street between Bay Street and Independent Drive, adjacent to the Suntrust Tower Parking Garage, has a changing lineup of food trucks rotate through on weekdays. It's downtown’s first food truck park. Now you can find a full service mobile grocery store called Saturiwa Trading Company there, selling affordable and healthy foods for downtown employees.

As part of The Court Urban Food Park’s new Midweek Market held every Wednesday from 11am until 2pm, specialty food vendors will be selling locally-produced, artisanal foods - highlighted by the inclusion of Saturiwa Trading Company. “Downtown has needed a specialty grocery store for some time,” notes Jack Shad, founder of The Court Urban Food Park. “An innovative business like Saturiwa Trading Company finally can provide such a service for our downtown neighborhood. Pretty much everything you can get from a Whole Foods or a Fresh Market, will now be available every week within walking distance of downtown’s major employers”

“With today’s busy lifestyles, many families will not get home from work and picking up their children until late,” explains Mike Stowers of Saturiwa Trading Company. “Oftentimes, mothers and fathers will be more likely to make unhealthy food choices when time demands have become strained. Our mobile grocery store offers an easy way to shop for affordable and healthy foods while on your lunch break. And while you are picking up some groceries, you can also grab a bite to eat from one of the many food trucks next to us at The Court Urban Food Park. We think this will be a big deal for downtown.”

Items available at the Midweek Market include but are not limited to: seasonal fruits and vegetables, rice, grains, nuts, dried fruits, local tempeh, seafood, local milk, freshly baked breads, artisanal cheese, hand made popsicles, spices, local honey, locally raised grass fed beef, local pork, local rabbit, local bison, local alligator, local quail and pheasant, baked goods and a variety of hard-to-find, gourmet snacks.
