Bring the kids and spend the day at the 2016 Joseph A. Strasser Butterfly Festival

Tree Hill Nature Center is hosting its 15th Annual Joseph A. Strasser Butterfly Festival. The Butterfly Festival is a community event that invites people from all across the First Coast to come explore the 50 acres of Tree Hill's nature preserve. For the event there are many local vendors, selling items from jewelry to handmade soaps and educational offerings from other nonprofits such as beehive demonstrations, animal encounters, and children's authors.

Don't miss the raffle too, which includes prizes from some of the best businesses around, including Native Sun, Trader Joe's and 29 South Restaurant.

This is a family-friendly day with arts and crafts, a bounce house, and a live butterfly release in the afternoon. The Joseph A. Strasser Butterfly Festival is Tree Hill Nature Center's only fundraising event and the proceeds from the event go directly to science education and the care of our animals.
