Amelia Island Restaurant Week 2018
Amelia Island will host the 10th Annual Restaurant Week, a 10-day culinary showcase featuring nearly 30 of the island’s most popular and award-winning dining establishments. Running from January 19-28, participating restaurants will offer fixed menus for lunch, dinner or both. Lunch menus are just $12 and include an entrée, side and non-alcoholic beverage. Dinner menus are either $21, $31 or $41 per person and include three courses and a beverage.
The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island will whet appetites with a “Tribute to Coastal Treasures,” a Restaurant Week opening dinner (Jan. 17) celebrating fresh, coastal flavors and Florida fare. Tickets are $125.
Restaurant Week will conclude with the “Barrel & Ashes” finale dinner (Jan. 27) at the Omni Amelia Island Plantation, where Executive Chef Daven Wardynski and his culinary team will highlight the complexities behind smoked foods in a four-course meal with paired cocktails. Tickets are $100, which includes a $25 donation to Barnabas Food Pantry.
Additional events include two-hour Mixology Tours with Amelia Island Downtown Tasting Tours, as well as a series of Florida-themed cooking classes hosted by the Amelia Island Culinary Academy. Tours and classes are on available Thursday, Friday, and Saturday dates from mid- to late-January.
