Culinary Nutrition Course: Sauces, Dips & Dressings
Join Registered Dietitian, Heather Borders, and Chef Lisa Franzino as they discuss the relationship between food, nutrition, and health. Each class will include a chef-led cooking demonstration of three recipes and provide practical culinary tips that anyone can use any day of the week. End with a meal tasting of the dishes prepared during the class, exploring new flavors and foods that will move everyone closer to their individual health goals. As you enjoy samples of each meal prepared, Registered Dietitian, Heather Borders, will provide resources to help you include more beans, greens, and grains into your daily life!
March 13: Sauces, Dips, & Dressings

In this fun and interactive 2-hour class, you’ll discover versatile sauces, soups, dips, and dressings that can be prepared in advance, taking the planning out of meal planning for the week.
This class will include learning:
- How to create delicious sauces that will help free you from store bought condiments
- About dairy-free substitutes that give you a creamy consistency
- How to analyze flavor to make a balanced, tasty soup
- Tricks for “morphing” a dip or sauce into a sauce or dressing
