Dinner of the Decade

An evening to celebrate local farmers, community, seasonal eats and 10 years of the Beaches Green Market.

Join the Dig Local Network on Sunday, April 29th for a dinner celebration commemorating their 10 year anniversary of the Beaches Green Market. Reconnect with friends and colleagues who’ve helped them over the years to build a thriving local food community.

Chef Mariah Goelz Salvat of Southern Roots Filling Station is set to prepare a family-style, southern supper for the occasion. The creative farmstead cuisine will be inspired by the very best locally sourced ingredients - seasonal vegetables, fruits and proteins from north Florida's finest farms. To compliment the meal, Beaches’ own, Plantology Cafe, will present palate cleansing beverages and a signature cocktail sourced with seasonal, local ingredients.

The evening begins at 5:00 pm with a welcoming cocktail hour, silent auction, and the melodic music of Calahoney. Dinner will be served at 6:00 by the expert staff at Royal Palm Wine and Tapas, where conversations and striking up new friendships are encouraged. Attention will be paid toward the celebration of local farmers, their extraordinary yields, and the taste of the Spring season.

After dinner, Dig Local Network staff will share the inspiration behind the evening’s meal and introduce each of the featured farmers, wrapping up the evening with a slide show presentation featuring highlights from ten years bringing local food to our community. Seats are limited, so make reservations early!
