Dinner at Berry Good Farms
Cocktails, dinner, live music and a raffle to support Berry Good Farms.

Dinner on the Farm is a wonderful gathering of families and community members in support of North Florida School of Special Education. At the annual fundraising dinner, guests will enjoy cocktails and dinner sitting adjacent to the thriving garden rows and greenhouse on the school’s campus. As a special treat, Executive Chef Scott Alters, owner/chef of the new San Marco restaurant, Rue Saint-Marc, will prepare appetizers and cocktails with his partner and mixologist Gabby Saul.

Following the cocktail hour, a delicious dinner will be prepared and served by NFSSE Chef Brett Swearingen and the school’s culinary students, with a menu inspired by the farm’s seasonal vegetables and herbs. The event will also feature the beautiful works of art created by the school’s newest micro-enterprise, an art program where young adult students are expressing their massive hidden talents in painting, sculpture and mosaics.

All proceeds from Dinner on the Farm will benefit Berry Good Farms and its continued goal of becoming a self-sustaining micro-enterprise. The horticulture and culinary arts programs provide meaningful training for careers in related fields. Both programs give young adults the tools for a healthier lifestyle and applicable training to retain compensated employment in our community.
