Join Groundwork Jacksonville for an fun, free day of explorations on the water.

Explore Jacksonville Canoemobile is a fun, free canoeing event that teaches youth about the natural resources in their community and how they can preserve and protect them. Each Canoemobile consists of six 24-foot Voyageur canoes and eight outdoor educators that guide groups, provide education and instruct participants in water safety and basic paddling. Land-based activities, exhibits and refreshments also will be offered. No prior canoeing experience is necessary. Safety floatation vests will be provided. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The event is free and space is limited.

Canoemobile is sponsored by Groundwork Jacksonville in partnership with the National Park Service Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve and Wilderness Inquiry.
