Flavors of France Farm to Table Dinner
Olive My Pickle and Garden Truck Food Co. present the second stop on this 100% plant based culinary adventure, with a celebration of French culture and the food that is a part of it. Each dinner ticket will includes a five course meal and one specialty alcoholic drink designed by a local distillery for the Farm to Table dinner. Other beer and wine available for purchase.
Chef Gail Patak, of Garden Truck Food Co. has been making 100% plant based cuisine for a decade and brings her culinary skills to this new dinner series. Each dinner will focus on a region of the culinary world and feature adapted, plant based versions of that region's most cherished dishes. “It really is possible to adapt most foods, even savory ones, over to plant based versions”, says Chef Gail, “We will present five courses, each with a vegan wine pairing to enhance the flavors of each dish”
Each Farm to Table dinner will feature a foundation that focuses on conservationism or animal welfare. "Flavors of France" will be spotlighting OneProtest and The International Coalition Of Rhino Protection (ICORP). OneProtest has ten years' experience organizing and fighting for the voiceless and underrepresented in our society, and shares that experience and know-how with participants. ICORP is a not-for-profit anti-poaching organization founded to counter-act the pressures that wildlife is under across southern Africa as a result of increased poaching and criminal activities.
