Nominate your local food and drink heroes today! We want to celebrate your favorite farmers, chefs, restaurants and food policy makers. Nominees for a 2017 Local Hero Award should demonstrate leadership in two (or more) of the following areas:
1. A commitment to building a robust local food system & vibrant local food scene;
2. Transparency and authenticity in sourcing;
3. High quality product, ingredients, and services;
4. An awareness, and concern for, environmental and social sustainability.
Only businesses and organizations located in Northeast Florida are eligible to be nominated. There are eight (8) categories total. To complete your nomination form, proceed through each category, then at the end, select "submit". Not every category must be completed to enter. One (1) ballot per person. Winners will be announced in the January-February issue.
