The Bee's Knees

This cocktail dates back to the prohibition era when anything called 'the bee's knees' meant it was really something special. True to form, if you're looking for a cocktail made with only three simple ingredients -- all produced right here in Northeast Florida -- then look no further! This is The Bee's Knees.

Instructions

Using a 1:1 ratio, heat equal parts local honey and fresh-filtered water over low heat in a sauce pan until throughly combined. Let cool completely. When ready to make your cocktail, combine gin, lemon juice and honey syrup into a shaker over ice. Shake well and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with lemon.
