Cajun Blackened Meat Rub

This spicy flavoring adds a taste of Louisiana to any meal.

Instructions

Mix all ingredients together and place in airtight jar or tin. When ready to use, coat the meat of your choice with some olive oil and rub both sides with the seasoning.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup dried thyme
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoons ground white pepper or regular black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 3/4 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 tablespoon ground nutmeg
