Gilbert’s Loquat BBQ Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 quarts Loquats, seeded
  • 1 quart Tomatoes, canned/peeled
  • 1 cup Tomato Paste
  • 1 cup Dijon Mustard
  • 1/2 cup Brown Mustard
  • 3 cups Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 3 cups Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup Lite Soy Sauce
  • 1 cup Alaga Cane Syrup
  • 2 Fresno Chilis, stemmed
  • 3 tbsp Chinese Five Spice
  • 1 tbsp Kosher Salt

Instructions

Place all ingredients into a large pot. Turn stove on medium heat. Cook slow for 1 hour. Purée BBQ sauce with hand blender until smooth.
