Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort

Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort presents the third annual "Fish to Fork" culinary weekend at the luxury oceanfront resort on Mother's Day weekend from May 5-8, 2016, to benefit the James Beard Scholarship Foundation.

"Fish to Fork" festivities challenge six award-winning Chefs from across the country to join Amelia Island charter captains for a fishing excursion before turning their catch-of-the-day into signature dishes during the weekend's main event on Saturday, May 7 from 6-9 p.m. In addition, the weekend features a live culinary competition and an energetic atmosphere with a band, dancing, drinks and lots of laughter.

Guest experiences available during the "Fish to Fork" weekend also include the opportunity to fish alongside the Chefs, an intimate dinner with the competitors, an exclusive Chef-led multicourse meal and private wine-paired dining experiences. The culinary weekend is an unmatched food lovers experience, offering true farm-to-table and dock-to-dish specialties and one-of-a-kind dining opportunities.

The main event includes both an individual and group challenge. During the individual challenge, Chefs will use the fish they caught during their charter-fishing trip to make a signature dish. Later in the evening, the Chefs will be tested with a live vote from guests who sample both the individual and team dishes.

Three separate "Fish to Fork" travel packages are available, including a VIP Package that includes welcome cocktails, dinner with the Chefs, and two tickets to the main event. Visit http://www.fish-to-fork.com for further information and to book your travel package for the 2016 culinary weekend.
