The Raisin Cake Orchestra, a jazz quartet, specializes in unique renditions of jazz classics

The next Lightner After Hours event will take place Thursday, March 30, 2017 from 5:30 – 7:30 P.M. Stop by for an evening of enlightening conversation, exceptional music and tasty morsels in Lightner Museum’s Grand Ballroom Gallery.

Entertainment for the evening is provided by The Raisin Cake Orchestra, a jazz quartet based in Jacksonville, FL that specializes in unique renditions of jazz classics from the teens, twenties, and thirties, and beyond with an emphasis on the sounds of New Orleans jazz from the Dixieland and Prohibition eras.

Locals and tourists alike are welcome to enjoy the atmosphere of the Lightner Museum after hours while relaxing with refreshments before visiting some of St. Augustine's many wonderful local restaurants.  Café Alcazar, located in the Historic Pool area of the museum, will be open with a specialty dinner menu from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.  This event is free and open to the public.  Free parking is available after 5 p.m. Business casual attire is requested.

The Lightner Museum is a non-profit cultural institution sustained by the generous support of individuals, businesses and sponsors.
