Participants in the Taste Academy include Chef Brian Whittington, the Hyppo and Creme de la Cocoa.

The Taste of St. Augustine is back in its 20th year and promises to be bigger and better than ever. With the launch of their latest series of epicurean events at The Taste Academy, EPIC organizers bring visiting food enthusiasts behind the scenes to some of St. Augustine's favorite food locales, offering participants one-on-one time with local food artisans and chefs, eager to share their craft. From coffee cupping to botanical cocktails, making pasta to an afternoon of shrimp and pickles with James Beard Award Nominee Chef Brian Whittington, the line-up of St. Augustine's Taste Academy offerings in 2016 is a feast for adventurous eaters.

Academy events are hosted at various locations throughout St. Augustine and offer participants a hands-on learning experience, working side by side with local food makers.  Workshop guests receive a free admission to the Taste of St. Augustine – a celebration of local food, local breweries/wineries and local music on Saturday, April 23rd at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre.
