Crane to Crane Mixer
The Sandhill Crane, which is Crane Ramen’s emblem, is an iconic bird in Florida whose habitats are rapidly declining. Crane Ramen and the North Florida Land Trust are partnering to help protect and preserve Sandhill Crane habitats throughout Northeast Florida. To celebrate the partnership, they’re hosting a “Crane to Crane” mixer on September 18 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Emily Dunn of the NFLT will provide a brief presentation, and Crane will debut their Guana Grog cocktail. Tickets cost $20 and $5 from each ticket purchased will be donated to the NFLT. The Guana Grog is a tiki drink that will be permanently featured on the Crane cocktail menu. A dollar from every drink purchased will go to the NFLT.
Tickets are limited to 30 guests and include small plates, which will be served throughout the evening, and one house drink. The NFLT signature cocktail, the Guana Grog, will also be sampled. Additional food and drinks will be available for purchase.
Throughout the evening, guests will hear from Emily Dunn, who serves as Stewardship Manager for the NFLT. Emily is responsible for the management of NFLT lands, volunteer coordination, and organization of outreach and service opportunities. Emily received a Bachelor of Science degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Rochester, and a Master of Science degree in Wildlife Ecology from the University of Delaware. She is also a Florida Master Naturalist and currently serves as an assistant instructor for the master naturalist program in Duval County.
