Luau at HobNob Restaurant

HOBNOB, an independent restaurant located at Unity Plaza, will celebrate Labor Day (September 5) with a luau from 4-9 p.m.

The luau will include traditional Hawaiian music and an all-you-can-eat buffet by Executive Chef Roger Regulacion, featuring the following dishes:

• Roasted suckling pig and kalua pig with sauces • Longanisa stuffed jumbo snapper • Macadamia nut crusted mahi mahi • Szechuan roasted salmon • Grilled teriyaki chicken • Pancit • Fried rice • Wok charred assorted vegetables • Pork and beef stuffed lumpia • Crispy Spam musubi with spicy soy dipping sauce • Lomi lomi salmon with spicy shrimp chips • Haupia stuffed Hawaiian sweet bread • Pineapple and strawberry layered cake with toasted coconut • Summer melon and fruit platter

Buffet tickets cost $25 for adults and $10 for children ages 12 and under through August 31; the price will increase to $35 for adults and $15 for children on September 1. Children ages 2 and under will be admitted free of charge. Any remaining tickets will be sold at the door. Each buffet ticket includes one cup of alcoholic or non-alcoholic tiki punch by Beverage Manager Marlon Hall.

“As a child growing up in Hawaii, I remember attending luaus to celebrate holidays, honor milestones in our friends and families’ lives, and savor the simple joy of being together,” said Regulacion. “I can’t think of a better way to celebrate the end of summer than to host a traditional luau for our friends and family at HOBNOB.”

HOBNOB will only be open for the luau September 5. Regular lunch hours will resume September 6.
