Calli Marie Webb and Jack Twatchman announce the launch of Callie Marie BAKES, a locally-produced coffee table cookbook featuring recipes inspired by local craft beer and espresso bar BREW Five Points in the burgeoning Riverside neighborhood. The cookbook will offer a glimpse into Webb's creation process, showcasing seasonal recipes for treats such as Matcha Pistachio Bark, Mixed Berry Pavlova, Vanilla Cherry Scone and Spent Grain Toffee Nut Cookies. Twatchman will serve as writer and editor of BAKES.

Webb is classically trained at The Art Institute of Jacksonville and currently serves as the food program manager at BREW Five Points. She shares her creations through her immensely popular Instagram feed @calliemariebakes and her blog www.callimariebakes.com. Her work has been featured on WJCT, Jacksonville Business Journal, Edible Northeast Florida and VOID Magazine and she is a contributor to the recently-released The Chef's Canvas: Recipes Inspired by the Collection of the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens.

When asked why she wanted to embark on a cookbook project, Webb said "I just want a group of girls in the kitchen making a recipe together and drinking wine and having a good time, and eating the whole thing, and laughing, like ‘we just ate all those cookies.’ That's all I want. If one person does that with her friends, mission accomplished. That's what baking has done for me."

Calli Marie BAKES will be organized according to seasonality and will focus on BREW's dedication to local, seasonal, creative menu offerings. Webb and Twatchman are self-publishing Calli Marie BAKES, and to raise up-front costs for the project they are launching a crowdfunding campaign through Kickstarter. The campaign will focus on pre-sales of the cookbook and will kick off Friday, March 25, 2016, with a launch event at Intuition Ale Works in Riverside. Webb will serve tasting portions of dishes featured in the cookbook and each will be paired with Intuition Ale Works beer. The BAKES production team will provide a sneak peek of the book's design and guests will be able to pre-order their copy of the cookbook at the event. Guests can RSVP for the Kickstarter launch event at callimariebakeslaunchparty.

If the project is funded, the cookbook will be printed locally and will be set to release in early November of 2016.
