 Red Quinoa and Buckwheat Grain Bowl
This quick-to-fix dish is comfort food at its best.

There is something so comforting about a grain bowl. It takes me back to my college days when my favorite food after a long day, short day, or really any day was a heaping bowl of quinoa with sweet potato, black beans, pulled pork, avocado, veggies and an egg. It always hit the spot and I somehow never tired of the exact. same. preparation. These days, the classic grain bowl is still just as comforting but the appeal is 20 times greater because there is plenty of room for creativity and the ingredients always feel healthy and filling. This variation includes a miso sesame dressing that is packed with flavor, absorbing perfectly into the grains and arming the broccoli with a little extra oomph that it sometimes needs.
