Cabbage fields in Hastings, Florida.

Management practices that improve and sustain productivity of cole crops including cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower and Brussels sprouts will be the focus of the field day at the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agriculture Science’s Hastings Agricultural Extension Center Cowpen Branch Research Farm.

Presenters such as UF/IFAS specialists, Extension agents and industry representatives will cover topics such as advanced cabbage production systems, cover crops for weed control, pest management, variety selection, and more. Registration is free and begins onsite at 8:30 a.m. Lunch is provided by Ameris Bank.  Please RSVP to (904) 692-4944.
