Beat the heat every Wednesday in July with a FREE scoop of fresh, handmade gelato compliments of Peterbrooke Chocolatier. Starting July 6, guests can treat themselves to a scoop of classic gelato flavors, like sea salt caramel and mint chocolate chip, or check out the Jacksonville Jaguars flavor – ‘Jag-lato’ – for a limited time only.

The ‘Gelato July’ promotion started in 2015 to introduce Peterbrooke’s new gelato offering to the community. “Gelato is fast becoming a favorite product among Peterbrooke’s guests,” said Rick Consolo, Peterbrooke’s master gelatiere. “I make our gelato in-house daily, without any artificial colors or flavors. And I work with small batches to ensure the freshest, most flavorful and delicious treat for our customers.”

The limited edition ‘Jag-lato’ gelato celebrates Peterbrooke’s sponsorship of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Its flavor is under wraps until the promotion starts on July 6, and will only be available in Peterbrooke stores during the month of July.

“Gelato is a great alternative to regular ice cream with less butterfat, but all the flavor,” says Elizabeth Cordell, marketing manager for Peterbrooke Chocolatier. “If you haven’t tried gelato before, swing by for your free scoop any Wednesday in July and taste the difference.”

The ‘Gelato July’ promotion is available on Wednesdays from July 6 through July 27 at all participating Peterbrooke Chocolatier locations.
