Alina Gonzalez

Alina was a teacher, a reading coach and a curriculum support specialist with Miami-Dade County Public Schools for 20 years before settling in the Jacksonville area to start farming. She and her husband Simon Hoek Spaans own Urban Folk Farm and grow a variety of produce that they sell at local farmers markets and through a community-supported agriculture program.
