Amie became interested in the local food system soon after being diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder in 2010. The drive to better her own health turned into a passion for supporting farms and bridging the gap in the local food supply. With that passion, she started The Veggie Bin in 2011, a farm-to-table delivery service. In 2014, her company merged with Front Porch Pickings, where she is still active in every aspect of her business, including the daily operations.
