Florida Mushroom Festival
What is so amazing about Mushrooms? This festival will explore all the incredible ways fungi can be used for in agriculture, medicine and shaping our existence. Topics will include mycoremediation, novel antibiotics, psilocybin use and easy ways to incorporate mushrooms into your life. Beginner and advanced concepts will be covered, come and witness the spectacle of mushrooms and how they can shift the current paradigm to harmonize the world we live in. Featured Speaker Dr. John Holliday is an international medicinal mushroom producer and consultant.
Mushroom Contests ~ Best Mushroom in Art, Best Mushroom in Art under 14, Best Mushroom Recipe and Biggest Domestically Raised Mushroom. Submit entries at entry booth before 12:00pm. Winners announced 12:30pm at the stage. Winners donated to the festival.
Mushroom Speakers ~ 9:30-10:30am, 11-12:30 Featured Speaker, 1-2:30, 3-4:30.
