Our community is enriched by the roles Black chefs, farmers and food makers have played in the creation of a vibrant food culture.

Gathering around the table, celebrating the story of food and the people who make and grow it - soul food is American food.

This collection of stories and recipes is but a small representation of the tremendous impact Black Americans have had on our diverse local food culture. We look forward to telling more of their stories.
