Gaston originally hails from Argentina, where he received a culinary degree from Gato Dumas Culinary School. Since moving to the United States, Gaston has worked in restaurants in Lake Tahoe, Hawaii and was previously at The Floridian in St. Augustine. He now owns and runs Buena Onda Cafe in St. Augustine with his wife Amy Tarmey. He loves cooking for his wife and daughter, and is excited about combining South American culinary traditions with the local ingredients found on Florida’s first coast.
