Atlantic Beach City Market
Conveniently located at New Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, the Atlantic Beach City Market offers local, healthy, fresh and green foods to beaches residents.
This market is a collaboration between the City of Atlantic Beach, Atlantic Beach Urban Farms, Baptist Health, BEAM, Dig Local Network, Jacksonville University, New Friendship Missionary Baptist Church and the Clinton Health Matters Initiative, an initiative of the Clinton Foundation. It will serve the Mayport community, a USDA defined food desert, with weekly access to a point of sale for fresh produce, meats, dairy and other items as well as nutrition education and twice monthly health screening opportunities.
*The market, managed by Dig Local Network, will be open every Friday from 3:00-6:00 p.m., rain or shine, 52 weeks a year. Recipients of SNAP/EBT will be able to double up to $20 per visit for Florida-grown fruits and vegetables.
