Lisa Langshaw

Lisa is one of the partners in the new downtown Fernandina Beach shop known as The Picnic Basket. Although the shop is new to the area Lisa is not. Her adventures in food on Amelia Island date back to 1993 with the opening of Shakespeare’s Kitchen, one of the Island’s introduction to slow foods. She served up cold press juices and farm to table with herbs being grown on the restaurants terrace and in the courtyard Herb Garden down below. She is an admirer of Alice Waters and what she has done to enlighten how beautiful it can be to have a hand in all aspects of preparing a meal. Her passion for all things food continues in this quaint little shop that offers so much.
