Ingredients
SERVINGS: 2 Dozen
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 2-1/2 cups quick oats
Instructions
1. Cover cookie sheets with wax paper. In a medium sized pot, stir together sugar and cocoa powder. Slice butter into cubes and add to sugar-cocoa mixture. Stir in milk and cook on high. When mixture comes to a nice rolling boil, almost to the edges of the pan, cook for exactly 1 minute and 30 seconds.
2. Remove from heat and quickly stir in vanilla, peanut butter and oats. Once mixed, quickly spoon onto wax paper and let cool. Allow to cool completely, about 10 minutes, then remove from wax paper.
