Edible Northeast Florida is a print publication, published six (6) times a year, and distributed free to the public. From discussions on culinary trends to innovations in food production, tested food and drink recipes to gardening tips, our mission is to provide content that engages readers in supporting and sustaining our local farms, restaurants, purveyors and artisans. While many of our readers have been enthusiastic champions of good food for years, we aim to engage even more people in the process of cultivating and celebrating a sustainable regional food system. In short, we love food. We love cooking it. We love growing it. And, of course, we love eating it too.

Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Amy has worked professionally in media, education, and communications for over 15 years. From documentary photography to writing speeches, program management to strategic communications planning, she has a long history of helping people, businesses, and nonprofit organizations tell their story. She started Edible Northeast Florida in April 2015 as an advocate for good food, vibrant communities and thriving business in our region. When not at work, Amy spends time with her husband and camera, traveling, cooking, and brainstorming ways to live big in small spaces.

Officially known as the Boss of Food in her family, Lauren is a long-time Northeast Florida foodie, who brings over 30 years experience in our area's local food movement to the magazine, along with a passion and expertise in baking and front yard farming. After a career in digital production and enterprise content management, Lauren is excited to be focused on her first loves: writing and talking about food and the vital role it plays in our community. Lauren lives with her husband in St. Augustine, and while her children have flown from the nest, they continue to support the local food scenes in Austin and Los Angeles. see Lauren's stories...

Jenn Myers officially came on board as a part-time member of the Edible team at the start of 2016. In addition to having first-hand experience in the food industry, Jenn brings an impressive professional history of success in sales and marketing to her work with business partners, and she's a strong advocate for local business development. As the owner of Juniper Market on San Marco Avenue in St. Augustine, she is also passionate about slow food and enjoys working with local vendors to create recipes and prepared food that highlights simple, seasonal ingredients.
