Blackfly Restaurant

Since June of 2012, Blackfly Restaurant has been a local favorite in St. Augustine for fresh, locally caught seafood and farm-to-table fare. Located on Anastasia Boulevard in a space inspired by travel and fly-fishing, Blackfly Restaurant's upscale menu also features a variety of moderately priced dishes, like brick oven pizzas and sushi, for those looking for casual eats in comfortable dining environment.

Taverna San Marco

Located at the Town Center, Moxie has long been a leader in our region's local food movement. We love their full circle approach to food, putting exceptionally innovative cuisine and sustainability smack dab in the middle of our fine dining scene. Serving American flavors from coast to coast, Moxie is a locally-owned restaurant with carefully-sourced ingredients, bold design, and professional service. Chef Tom Gray has earned two James Beard Award nominations (2009 + 2010) and he has no plans to rest on his laurels anytime soon.

Bistro AIX

Located in the heart of Jacksonville’s historic San Marco district, Bistro AIX provides an energetic and rustic setting to enjoy seasonally inspired French and Mediterranean cuisine. Named after the French town in Aix-En-Provence, the menu is meant to reflect the “laissez-faire” attitude of the European dining experience. M Shack Burgers

Open since late 2011, M Shack Burgers redefines the old-fashioned burger joint with fresh ingredients prepared in a hip environment. And, don't even get us started on their hand-spun milkshakes! (Or the booze-y versions for adults). Quality at M Shack is not only a duty, but a passion. M Shacks are casual and inviting, offering guests a perfectly relaxing, easy-going atmosphere after a day of work or play. Not to worry if you don't eat meat -- there are delicious kale salad options too.  Visit one of their four locations in the region: Nocatee, Riverside, St.

Restaurant Medure

Restaurant Medure features fresh seafood and game, along with seasonal sides, prepared with flavors and techniques from the Mediterranean, Asia and around the world. House-made pastas and desserts are a highlight as is a four course tasting menu created nightly by their culinary team. Be sure to arrive early for a stop at the bar before being seated. Matthew's Restaurant

For over a decade, Matthew's Restaurant in San Marco has been one of Northeast Florida's most distinctive, innovative and elegant restaurants. Chef Matthew Medure has set the standard in fine dining with his unique menu options, impeccable service and attention to detail. Their staff is at your service and attentive to every detail. The menu is carefully considered each day to surprise and entertain your palate and to satisfy every distinctive taste. There is a dress code in their dining room: no shorts, t-shirts, sneakers, tattered jeans or beachwear.

Ned's Southside Kitchen

Longtime St. Augustine Chef, Ned Pollack opened a new casual dining restaurant in February of 2010 and it's been a local favorite ever since. Bountiful breakfasts, classic dinners, fresh salads, seafood, soups, sandwiches and more. Be sure to ask for daily Blue Plate specials and come hungry!(You can even call ahead for window service).

The Floridian

The Floridian's goal is somewhat simple: make really great food using local, seasonal and sustainable ingredients as much as possible, and provide guests with a comfortable, casual atmosphere in which their food can be enjoyed.  The result is innovative Southern Fare for omnivores, herbivores and locavores, and a restaurant that proudly serves regionally-inspired and locally-sourced cuisine. Casual dining for lunch and dinner 6 days a week.

 

Restaurant Nineteen

This breathtaking Mediterranean revival-style clubhouse is open to the public and sets the stage for a casual dining experience with culinary flare. NINETEEN features a creative array of freshly prepared American and Continental cuisine in a warm, inviting ambience. Menus change seasonally to take advantage of the freshest local fare, with options ranging from wasabi crusted tuna, filet mignon to Florida grouper.
