Chemistry in the Kitchen: Citrus and Ceviche
Does citrus really "cook" ceviche? The answer is, technically, no.
Blend all the Acai Citrus Bowl ingredients together in a blender until smooth. The consistency should be thick with a soft ice cream like texture. Scrape into a bowl, then top with toppings.
SUBSTITUTIONS
Swap out orange juice for 1/2 cup coconut milk, almond milk, or almond butter
ALTERNATIVE TOPPING OPTIONS
Granola, flaked coconut, sliced banana or kiwi, chopped almonds, goji berries, chopped pecans, sunflower seeds, strawberries, pomegranate, pineapple chunks or mango.
