Ingredients

SERVINGS: 1
  • 1-1/2 ounces Minke gin (or your gin of choice)
  • 1-1/2 ounces Dolin dry vermouth
  • Pickled green tomato from Olive My Pickle (or your choice of pickled vegetable), for garnish

About this recipe

The Gibson (and the martini in general) is one of my favorite cocktails because the recipe and garnish can be tailored to personal tastes. Personally, I love a Gibson with a 50-50 gin to vermouth ratio and a pickled garnish from a local business, like the pickled green tomatoes from Olive My Pickle (found at a Farmers' Market near you).

Instructions

1. Add gin and vermouth to a mixing glass.

2. Fill mixing glass with ice and stir for 10-15 seconds.

3. Strain into a chilled coupe or cocktail glass.

4. Garnish with your choice of pickled vegetable.
