Coffee-Rubbed Beef

Use this rub to add a slightly sweet new twist to your favorite cut of meat.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup finely ground coffee
  • 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon Kosher salt
  • 1-½ pounds top sirloin steak, cut into 1-½-inch cubes, fat trimmed
  • 2 medium green peppers, cut into chunks

Instructions

Mix all rub ingredients together with a fork in a medium bowl. Using your hands or tossing in a bag, coat beef chunks liberally. Alternate beef and green peppers on skewers and grill until cooked.
