honey sriracha wings
These wings with a kick make a delicious addition to your tailgating menu.

I frequent Hawkers an excessive amount of times in a single month span, getting an excessive amount of food for one person and being too afraid to change my order because I am a creature of habit, and what if what I get isn’t as good?!

You are probably saying to yourself “Yeeesh, not only does this girl love stream of consciousness, but is it even possible to get roti, black bean cod and curry noodles for weeks on end and not get tired of them?”

Yes, yes it is.

I digress. On my most recent trip to Hawkers, the couple at the table next to me ordered these incredible-looking chicken legs (wings? It was hard to be certain) and they not only looked, but smelled divine. I was tempted to lean over and ask if I could have one. This got me thinking that I should branch out and try these on my next trip to Hawkers, and also that I should try to recreate this yummy-looking dish at home.

Today, in a bout of creativity, I decided to give the mysterious wings (that I have not actually tried) a try.

I made a honey sriracha sauce that I tossed the baked wings in, and boy was it divine. I was only going to have one or two but I looked back later and the entire bowl was empty…
