Heather Schatz

Heather was raised in the food and beverage industry, and loves writing about food almost as much as she enjoys eating it. She’s had the good fortune to be able to do both throughout her career in journalism, public relations and marketing - and pick up a few Emmy Award nominations along the way. Heather currently produces “First Coast Connect with Melissa Ross,” “The Florida Roundup” and "What's Health Got to Do With It? for WJCT. She lives at the Beaches with her family, who wishes she would cook more.
