Oysters and fresh-caught, local pompano fish took center stage at the Coastal dinner.

There's no better way to appreciate what's in season throughout the year than by gathering with community and friends for a meal around the table. Together with our friends at Congaree & Penn Farm, this spring Chef Ryan Randolph is collaborating with local farmers, chefs, food + drink makers to showcase our region's bounty. A coastal-themed dinner kicked off the series, with a pescatarian feast featuring guest Chef Jonathan Haynes of Sunshine Grindz and local shore fisherman Larry Finch, and while tickets are officially sold-out for dinners at the farm this spring, there's no reason everyone can't host their own Farmers Table at home, season by season.

An Ode to Ramps

Don't be surprised if Chef Ryan Randolph waxes poetic about the myriad ways to use ramps in the kitchen, while he pickles, sautés, roasts and appreciates this springtime wild green onion.
