Amelia Tavern is a local brewery and restaurant nestled into the heart of historic Fernandina Beach on Centre street, featuring warm and inviting contemporary decor with southern "twisted" food inspired by the barrier island they're on. Their kitchen is focused on fresh, favorite ingredients with a twist, paired with a collection of house brews, curated to match the menu and pair with any palate.  As the only fully operational craft brewery in Fernandina Beach, they like to say their beer is forged from the island current and carved from the sandy dunes that surround the Tavern -- but really, it's made from the best malt and hops they can find. Artisan Black Garlic


Don't be intimidated by the color, this garlic is delicious! Use black garlic cloves as you would use roasted garlic: sautee them in oil, smear them on crusty bread, blend them into salad dressing, or simply put them on crackers with a small and creamy bite of cheese. Artisan Black Garlic also offers the world's first and only Black Garlic Vinegar made with the umami-rich cloves of black garlic, hand-crafted right here in Northeast Florida. Atlantic Beach City Market


Conveniently located at New Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, the Atlantic Beach City Market offers local, healthy, fresh and green foods to beaches residents.

This market is a collaboration between the City of Atlantic Beach, Atlantic Beach Urban Farms, Baptist Health, BEAM, Dig Local Network, Jacksonville University, New Friendship Missionary Baptist Church and the Clinton Health Matters Initiative, an initiative of the Clinton Foundation.  It will serve the Mayport community, a USDA defined food desert, with weekly access to a point of sale for fresh produce, meats, dairy and other items as well as nutrition education and twice monthly health screening opportunities.

*The market, managed by Dig Local Network, will be open every Friday from 3:00-6:00 p.m., rain or shine, 52 weeks a year. Recipients of SNAP/EBT will be able to double up to $20 per visit for Florida-grown fruits and vegetables.

Situated in the middle of several Atlantic Beach neighborhoods, this market is within easy biking or walking distance. The market itself is family friendly but even more so with the small playground next to the vendors’ location in the green. Palm Valley Farmers Market


The Palm Valley Farmers Market is located in the heart of Palm Valley in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. It is held every Tuesday from 1 pm to 5:30 pm at the Palm Valley Community Center. The market features local vendors who provide products such as farm-fresh produce, eggs, milk, fresh-baked breads, pies,cookies, fresh seafood, direct-trade, grade-A coffee, artisan jams, cheeses, and homemade biscotti.

Regular vendors include: The Harvest Basket (produce, eggs, milk, cheese, bread), Fish Chic Seafood, Café Llano Bonito (coffee & biscotti), and the Little Black Box Baked Goods (jams, pies, cookies). Directly across the street from the market is also GYO Greens, an aquaponics farm that provides locally grown micro-greens and other produce to local restaurants. They open their farm to the public every Tuesday from 2-5pm so market guests can purchase directly from them and see their operation in action.

Located under the canopy of the oaks at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, this market has everything you need to fill your shopping basket: fresh produce, eggs, cheese, meats, seafood, baked goods, coffee, tea, jams, honey and so much more. Located at the intersection of A1A and Florida Blvd., vendors at the Beaches Market sell a wide selection of in-season, local and organic produce, local all-natural meats, free-range eggs, cut flowers, locally roasted organic coffees, edible plants and trees, orchids, handcrafted teas, gluten-free and vegan foods, handcrafted cheeses, locally made desserts, freshly baked breads, homemade dog treats, local honey and other seasonal delights. The Market aims to empower through education and awareness, thus allowing people to make active decisions towards the betterment of their personal health, that of their families and the planet as a whole.


Bellwether Restaurant


Bellwether is revitalizing the downtown Jacksonville food scene with elevated Southern classics served in an understated setting. Like its sister restaurants Orsay, Black Sheep, and BLK SHP at Intuition, Bellwether reflects chef and owner Jon Insetta’s focus on exceptional flavors and culinary technique, while showcasing the creativity of Chef Kerri Rogers.  The restaurant’s core menu expands seasonally to include entrées and specials that reflect emerging trends and flavors with Northeast Florida flair. Bistro AIX


Located in the heart of Jacksonville’s historic San Marco district, Bistro AIX provides an energetic and rustic setting to enjoy seasonally inspired French and Mediterranean cuisine. Named after the French town in Aix-En-Provence, the menu is meant to reflect the “laissez-faire” attitude of the European dining experience. Catch 27


Catch 27 is located in the heart of the historic district in downtown St. Augustine on a narrow brick street, customary of the Nation's Old City. Known for serving fresh, locally caught seafood from Florida waters, their chef takes special care in sourcing ingredients responsibly and it's not uncommon to find him making a weekend visit to the local farmers market. 

As such, almost everything at Catch 27 is made from scratch with seasonal ingredients and local produce. Fresh fish featured on the menu often includes lesser-know local favorites like sheepshead, triggerfish, flounder or black drum. Of course, the shrimp is local too. With a recently build-out of a bar complete, their bar program is now up and running with cocktails guided by the same seasonal priciples found in their kitchen.  From yummy house-made taco sauces (which must be tried) to a flavorful plate featuring the catch of the day, Catch 27 will not disappoint. Their dreamy dining courtyard and surpring favorites at the bar (like a Kalimotxo, cola and wine) --- Catch 27 is truly a farm-to-table gem you should not miss.

Corner Taco's Chef & Owner Chris Dickerson is an accomplished chef whose brought his semi-swanky street food concept to the Riverside neighborhood of Jacksonville in a charming, casual eatery, known for authentic ingredients.  Corner Taco received national attention when profiled by Alton Brown’s AB Road Eats and from features in numerous publications, including The Local Palate. It's the only Mexican restaurant in Jacksonville with the Slow Food Snail of Approval. Be sure to save room for the Dulce de Leche Milkshake!

Open since late 2011, M Shack Burgers redefines the old-fashioned burger joint with fresh ingredients prepared in a hip environment. And, don't even get us started on their hand-spun milkshakes! Quality at M Shack is not only a duty, but a passion. M Shacks are casual and inviting, offering guests a perfectly relaxing, easy-going atmosphere after a day of work or play. Mezza Restaurant


Mezza offers dinner six nights a week. The bar and lounge features music at happy hour three nights a week and a space for children to make their own wood-fired oven pizzas, while the patio offers a covered retreat for guests who enjoy sitting outside, sheltered from the elements. The main dining room is slightly more formal and features nightly specials with seasonal finds and a handful of impressive house-made ingredients. 

Moxie Kitchen + Cocktails


Serving American flavors from coast to coast, Moxie Kitchen + Cocktails is a locally-owned restaurant with carefully-sourced ingredients, bold design, professional service, and a "full circle approach". Chef Tom Gray has earned two James Beard Award nominations (2009 + 2010) and he has no plans to rest on his laurels anytime soon.  Moxie's menu showcases Chef Tom's personal take on contemporary regional American cuisine, influenced from his southern upbringing, extensive travels, and past professional experiences.

Longtime St. Augustine Chef, Ned Pollack opened a new casual dining restaurant in February of 2010 and it's been a local favorite ever since. Bountiful breakfasts, classic dinners, fresh salads, seafood, soups, sandwiches and more. Be sure to ask for daily Blue Plate specials and come hungry!(You can even call ahead for window service).



Ovinté is a Spanish restaurant and lounge located at the St. John’s Town Center in Jacksonville, Florida. The diverse menus draw inspiration from the culinary traditions found in both Spain and Italy. Berry Good Farms


Berry Good Farms on the Go is a food truck that offers up seasonal menus using produce grown and harvested at Berry Good Farms on campus at the North Florida School of Special Education. What makes this mobile eatery really unique, however, is not only its fresh, innovative, healthy approach to food -- but also the care that's been taken to prepare it.

Students in the NFSSE culinary program learn to dry herbs, fruits and vegetables using a food dehydrator; mix ingredients and bake goods such as muffins; and prepare pesto and hummus using ingredients from the on-campus farm. All production items are then sold on the food truck, offering another avenue of revenue to support the school's project. Each student in the program is also instructed on proper customer service -- so each and every time you visit Berry Good Farms on the Go, you're almost guaranteed a win-win-win: good food, great cause, wonderful service.

Community Loaves Bakery


Community Loaves is a neighborhood bakery in Murray Hill, Jacksonville. It started in 2011 as an organic bike-delivered subscription bakery. Sarah, one of the founders, and Meredith, the other half of the baking duo, met in the fall of 2012 when Meredith moved home to Jacksonville. Sarah was looking for a new baking partner and Meredith had just completed an apprenticeship at an organic sourdough bakery in England. Sarah has since moved along and Meredith now runs the show. They bake organic, sourdough bread and whole grain pastries daily at their Bread Shop, and also serve sandwiches, organic coffee and tea, amongst other goodies. Open Tuesday - Friday, 8 am - 6 pm. Saturday and Sunday, 9 - 3 pm.

Congaree and Penn Farm



Congaree and Penn is known for rice; they grow a Jupiter medium grain in six Japanese style rice paddies, but that's not all they've got up their sleeves. They are currently nurturing over 2,000 Mayhaw seedlings to make into cider, 2,500 olive trees destined for olive oil, you pick muscadine grape vines, and a you pick blackberry field. Gyo Greens Farm


All produce in the Gyo Greens greenhouse is grown naturally, without the use of pesticides. While known for their microgreens, they also provide fresh, seasonal produce such as spinach, cucumbers and herbs, along with educational classes for community groups and students upon request. The farm is open to the public on Tuesday afternoon between 2 - 5 pm.

Down to Earth Farm


Down to Earth Farm is a small, sustainable farm on the west side of Jacksonville. Their goal is to grow healthy, delicious veggies in a manner that is gentle on our planet. This means using compost and OMRI listed products instead of chemical fertilizers to feed our plants, using organic potting soil, and fighting bugs and disease with responsible techniques such as crop rotation and regular scouting. They use no chemical pesticides or herbicides.

Providing over 50 different types of produce and other items from November to June. Selection includes Arugula, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Cabbage, Brussels Sprouts, Sungold Tomatoes, Bell Peppers, Tatsoi, Arugula, Spaghetti Squash, Blueberries, Cucumbers, Crookneck Squash, Sunflower & Sweet Pea Microgreens, Potatoes, Basil, Sorrel, Scarlet Kale and more. Farmers Row at Riverside Arts Market

The Fernandina Beach Market Place, is a true farmers’ market located on N. 7th Street in the historic district of Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island.  The farmers’ market is open EVERY Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., year round, rain or shine.  Twice a month, on the 2nd and 4th Saturday, the market also features local arts & crafts by talented artisans from the community.

With a wide variety of fresh produce, seafood and other culinary delights, Jacksonville Farmers Market offers a unique shopping experience for any age.  Enjoy the open air and festive market atmosphere as you stroll each of the outdoor bays. The Jacksonville Farmers Market is known best for its featured ethnic and imported specialty items that are not only unique but sometimes also rare and typically hard to find. If you're looking strictly for locally-grown food, be sure to inquire with vendors at this market. Many offerings are not grown by local farmers.

Wednesday Market at St. Johns County Pier


The Wednesday Market is a unique and enjoyable shopping experience at the St. Johns County Pier Park in St Augustine Beach.  The Market is sponsored by the St. Augustine Beach Civic Association.  Anywhere from 60 to 80 vendors participate each Wednesday morning year round from 8 AM until 12:30 PM.  Vendors display an array of produce, prepared foods, local seafood, art, crafts, jewelry and fair trade goods.

Nocatee Farmers Market


Held the 3rd Saturday of the Month from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm, the Nocatee Farmers Market is full of activities, shows and demonstrations for the entire family. With more than 80 vendors and so much to do, everyone is sure to have a great time. This market offers less fresh produce than other area markets, but there are lots of homemade jams, jellies, home baked goods, hand stitched quilts, plants, art and pottery items. There is also a tasty array of prepared food offerings including local St. Augustine crab cakes, smoked BBQ, kettle corn, pulled pork BBQ and Kona shaved ice.  

Orange Park Farmers' Market


Created in 2012, the Orange Park Farmers' and Arts' Market runs from 10 am - 3 pm on the first Sunday of each month. In January and July, the market is held the second Sunday. The market is run by The Town of Orange Park Events and Recreation Division, with over 100 vendors on a regular basis that offer a variety of homemade and homegrown products from local merchants, live entertainment, food on site, and a great family atmosphere! You can find nearly anything your heart desires from locally grown produce, local honey, cupcakes, pies, salsa, granola, plants, produce, raw milk, eggs, cheeses, hand crafted jewelry, bird houses, pottery pieces, didgeridoos, soaps, and many many more handcrafted items!

The market is located on the busy corner of US17 and Kingsley Ave. 2042 Park Ave, Orange Park, FL 32073. This is an outdoor market and sometimes due to inclement weather the market may be closed. Just look for the large yellow signs!

Suggested parking is at CVS/Winn Dixie, then use the pedestrian crosswalks to enter the market. There is also parking at Town Hall off of US 17 and Smith St and Kingsley Ave- both of these areas offer limited parking.

Fresh local seafood from area fishermen is made available to retail customers at the Seafood Shoppe near St. Augustine Beach, seven days a week. Most famous for their "St. Augustine Shrimp", locally owned shrimp boats bring their catch from Saint Augustine’s coastal water to the Seafood Shoppe docks 4 or 5 times a week during peak season. More fresh catch can be had from as far out as 250 miles out in the Atlantic. Be sure to inquire what local catch is available, and keep an eye out for favorites like sheepshead, triggerfish, and mullet.
